Well they're probably the 5th best team in the 14th Region behind Hazard, Knott Central, Perry Co Central, and Letcher Co Central.

Thats not too bad but considering the size of SL and the way there use to playing, i assume some could say this was a let down for south?

Right now i honestly dont think SL will even make the region this year.
Whitley and Corbin both seem to be better than South

South Laurel, was down 16 at one point in the game. Then Wright went with his Sophomers an turned the heat up a little to make a strong run before the half. This young bunch of kids has speed and knows how to move the basketball on offense.

South Laurel, shot less than 50% from the line an that hurt. South Laurel, must work on their free throws.

What have you seen from Corbin so far to make this assumption?

This was a good game. Great job by SL to come back. Multiple Buckhorn players including Matt Day had to battle foul trouble all night and Sanders was in foul trouble for SL. I would say that SL had over 40 FT attempts, but probably didn't connect on half of them. I was very impressed by the sportsmanship on both teams in such a heated contest and the prayer at the end of the game was very nice to see.

Imagine that, a team being in foul trouble and S.L shooting a million free throws at home! Buckhorn out played them in every aspect of the game, just didn't get a few calls, which happens when your away and definitely out of the region.
