I Agree, I Have Watched Belfry Play Both Football And Basketball And Feel Like They Are A Well-mannered, Classy Group. Would Like For Belfry And Sf To Meet In The Regional Finals, Could Be A Good Game.

Even though the score itself doesn't show it, when your starters combine for 13 points and the regular reserves combine for 15 (7 out of the 10 who scored), you know that Belfry wasn't out to run the score up. Great job ladies, you showed class and played a good game!

i talked to Johnson tonight and she said that coach gannon told them to let them work the ball around and such but it still didnt help...good job coach gannon GREAT CLASS

ALot of people don't realize how much class means to a school. When kids see adults "do the right thing" they tend to follow suit! Don't see to many Belfry players getting ejected or doing classless things in our sports programs. It all starts at the top, IMO, it all starts with P. Haywood!Go Pirates!! Tongue

Good Job Belfry, but did you have to score as much as you did? The Question is, If you were in there shoes would you want to get beat that bad?

well from what i was told Baller on defence they just stood there but Piarist continued to throw the ball away in my eyes you cant sit there and increase your per game avg in missed shots and tournovers they did they best to their ablilty the started and normal bench players barley even played...They did just what they should have done and did it right.

Well from my opinion I think that they need to play there bench players.. That would have been a good game for them to get some experience in..

They did they played there bottom 5-7 players 90% of the game lol...

Well that is a good thing for them to do.. Good Job Belfry!! Most team would have let there starters stay in and from my opinion that is very bad sportmanship... Great Job Belfry

In the football program it may start with Haywood, but these girls probably have little to no contact with him. So the classiness of the girls basketball team starts with the great parents they have raising them and then the credit goes to Coach Gannon and ends with the great group of girls playing.

Belfry is no Class 2A or 15th Region bully. We do what it takes to win fairly. But, we will not run up a score to pad our stats and make ourselves look good, while embarrassing another team in the process.

We have been blessed to have remarkable community support, great parents and a superb coaching staff to train these kids to have respect for others and a love of the game.

i agree belfry is a class act atleast in the only sport i have played them in football. theyll help you up they wont cheap shot you or anything and from what ive heard its like this in every sport

Maybe you guys should give classes to these teams that keep blowing out Piarist and The David school.
