Wasn't really this close. LC controlled this one from the start and only really stopped themselves.:rockon:

James had close to 140 yards rushing with 1 or 2 TDS on the ground...and one Rec TD.. Lance Clay had 2 rec TDs and 1 INT returned for a TD. Kiser threw for 178 yards and 3 TDS and one int which his arm was hitting just as he threw in and it landed in the belly of a defender laying on the ground.

The JYD's were once again very impressive. The Generals only score came about because of penalties against the D late in the 4th. I believe 2-15 yarders for face mask and illegal use of the hands. I think both flags came on 4th and long. The LC offense seemed a little off kilter. Looked like the O-line missed some assignments from time to time. Hard to pick on when you put up 40 points though.

Just had the chance to watch the Winfield vs Lawrence County game. Glad to see the Dawgs utilizing the passing game more. They have some very capable receivers in Clay and Crum. If they have any chance of making a run this year, they will need to continue progressing in the passing game. I think these guys learned a lot from the Sheldon Clark game and are playing with a bit more of urgency. The mid season loss might have helped.
