Keep me laughing please.
WOW!!! You won a Correll Bowl game... 2 years ago!!! WOOOHOOOO!!!!! What happened last year? OHHHH that's right PC came to the Rock and ripped your heart out! Keeping us all entertained over here. Keep laughing, all the way up to kickoff Friday night! Now, be sure to get on here after the game and let us all know how tough Rock is and how they hit Abner, Eastham and company, and about what you used to be. PC will take a win and get ready for the next game.

I believe the question was how many WON? :eyeroll:

I don't think either team is nearly as good as I had heard all of the offseason, however, I do think Pulaski is further along then the Rock.

PC has too much speed and will contain the run of Rock enough to run away with this one. PC will have a bunch of big plays in this game. Big yardage will be rolled up. Rock is going to have a hard 3 weeks coming up. PC, Bell and Knox.

It doesn't matter who has won in the past. it doesn't matter who gains the most yards. What matters is who wins this Friday

PC has great Special Teams. The McQueen kid can score every time you kick it to him. Rock is going to have to play keep away

This thread is making me sad, lol.
Has anyone ever called the Indianapolis Colts tough? No. Has anyone ever called them Champions? Yes.
Living in Rockcastle County almost all of my life, you always hear that the coaches want a team that will just hit you as hard as they can on defense, and when they run the ball, they want to run you over, not run around you. They want a team that would trade 4 teeth for a QB sack and a team that will give you a look so ugly that it causes your grandmother to cry.
What some of my fellow Rock fans do not seem to understand is that teams can be more talented, can be faster or can be bigger, but may not be as tough. (I am not necessarily saying that about Pulaski) At the end of the day, every player in the locker-room and every fan in the stands should be willing, on any day, to trade all of their pride and toughness for a victory.
I would be happy if the 2010 Rockcastle County Rockets were called the "softest" team on the field, as long as the State Championship came to Mt. Vernon.

How did that toughness work out against Danville???? Yeah you packed the box with 8 and 9 players to stop the run but got beat easily through the air. 40-0 or something like that.
PC rolls 41-13
If the ball bounces the right way and Pulaski D puts a whole game together it could be a running clock.

Lmao that Poster comes up with some crazy and embarrassing posts!!:lmao: I thought the middlesboro poster from a year ago was bad but this one takes the cake..:lmao:
Back to the Topic now!!
Pulaski County 35
Rockcastle County 14
Rockcastle isn't the rock of there old ways/teams, They seem to be going down hill every since Tom Larkey left. They may need a new coach and a new start soon. If Parkey doesn't turn this team around this year and make it respectful season he may just be put on the hot seat.

Not that I have a whole to say here , but I did notice the whole "we went to 2 straight title games on to get beat by the best team in the state"- I believe, if I am not mistaken that Boyle was in PC's district at that time. Or was that before they realigned?
09-16-2010, 09:14 AM
I hope it is a thrilling game just like last year with the Rock pulling it out at the end. We would take a one point win if we can get it. It would be a good win for the Rockets because Pulaski is good and we need momentum going into the next three weeks.

I thought that was right before they were put in a district together. But I could be wrong.
