Year in and year out, it's the same story for Dixie. Lots of pre-season hype, poor conditioning, and early season losses to teams they have no business losing to. NewCath is a perfect example. A smaller team with a first year head coach and they pushed Dixie around the whole second half. No way Dixie should be this marginal year after year. They have too much going in their favor; a good athletic base, the best facilities in NKY. It all comes down to coaching and conditioning, and because of the lack of one, they lack both.

Maybe the next best after Scott opens their new sports complex  But I agree Conditioning is a weak point for this team year after year. BUt 5A in Northern Kentucky probably shake out like it has with Highlands, CovCAth, Dixie.........then Scott

I won't argue that. Is the Scott complex really that impressive? It's always seemed like an afterthought in the past. If you'd have told me 30ish years ago that Scott would still be floundering in a pool of football confusion, I'd have laughed in your face. I'm really looking forward to them being apart from HHS/CovCath/Dixie and off in 5A with Conner. They'll never get a better shot to step up as they'll get with realignment.

The field is in, goalpost up press box up, a 9 lane Blue rubberized track is going in. There's been a problem with the bleachers but they should be in by the end of September for the first home game Oct 1.
Drive by the field yes it really is that impressive. Will it help them- who knows not until they get stability in the coaching ranks (head coach and assistants) and win games. They play a foolish non district schedule if they want to encourage kids to come out for the team they need to win games and play games they can win. Under the current district alignment they have only beat one of the teams (Dixie in 1986 I think) and are O fer against CovCath and Highlands

New Cath had a great comeback on the footsteps of Chris Kelly. He took over the game down the stretch on both sides of the ball
