How many public schools don't have football programs?

Just how many public schools in Kentucky don't have a football program?

Off the top of my head I know Lee County and Elliott County do not.

Wolfe County doesnt have one.

Barbourville High School does not.

Owsley Co. I know Lee Co want to put together afootball team about 7 or 8 years ago and start them at the middle school and work there way up and play a jv schedule the first couple years and then start a varsity team the third year, but something fellk through. also buckhorn doesn't and i think there a public school

Lyon County, Livingston County, Carlisle County, Hickman County out this way.

Silver Grove, Augusta and Deming can be added to the list. Silver Grove started a program a few years back, but it went under pretty quickly IIRC.

Monticello and Barbourville don't play football in this end of the state.

Buckhorn is a public school. They are part of the Perry Co. School System and they don't have football.

up north williamtown does not have one silver grove

Burgin High School in Mercer County does not.

Cordia in Knott County has no football program.

At least for most of the schools on the list you would think that the problem with fielding a football team would be numbers. How many of these schools have high enrollments but still no football team?
