Free-agent center Jermaine O'Neal said early Wednesday that he expects to sign with one of the three following teams in coming days: Dallas, Denver or Boston.

"Those are my favorites," O'Neal told ESPN.com "Those are teams that are going to compete [for a championship] next year."


Later in the day, his decision might have become more clear, with a source close to the situation telling ESPNDallas.com that O'Neal will likely sign with the Celtics.

Jermaine just isnt as good as he used to be.. Maybe a team like Boston could use him.. Be a pretty good pick-up/bench player for them. As for going too Dallas, they would more than likely want to start him, they don't have a lot of size.. Denver they have plenty so he'd probably be coming off of the bench there too.

I think shaq would slow them down in transition, And the celtics are a transition offense with rondo at the range. If Jermaine can keep his knees healthy he could be a big help. With perkins out.
