Butler forward Gordon Hayward is staying in the NBA draft, people familiar with the situation told the Indianapolis Star.

Hayward will make the formal announcement Friday at Butler, according to the newspaper.


The 6-foot-9 sophomore is projected to go in the top 15 picks and would become the first Butler player selected in the first round.
