For the past couple of months I have been gagging every single time that I rinse my mouth out after I brush my teeth. I have heard a few people say that it happens to them...
Who here does it and why in the heck does it happen?

I know I don't. But it's not something you're normally around people while they're doing it, but I'm sure there are some out there. There are people otu there for anything and everything.

Is it the toothpaste or is it when you rinse your mouth out and go to spit the water and toothpaste back out??
Mine really gets me when I am rinsing, I will gag, my mouth will fly open, water goes everywhere, and there I am hanging over the sink getting all teary eyed dryheaving. I don't think that's right. lol

That does not sound like a good problem to have unless you can go forever without brushing. EEEEWWWWWWuke:

just dont spit the water out. just kidding it could be some type of reflux problem

Try using less water, and rinse your mouth more than once. It may take longer but I don't think I could stand dry heaving over the sink. The whole house would think I'm dieing.

I rinse MULTIPLE times.
It happens EVERY morning.
I gag and go on. It's not the fact that people hear it, it really doesn't feel good AT ALL.
I was diagnosed with acid reflux but my gag reflex only acts up during this.
I dunno what to do.

I do that sometimes.. idk why

It happens to me often. Usually because I have put the toothbrush too far into my mouth. Matter of fact, I am at the point where I am nervous if I don't do it (or at least--I don't feel like my teeth are as clean).
I do have a very narrow esphogus (spelling?). I have a feeling that could have something to do with it.

The toothbrush is out of my mouth when I do it.
I am going to try less water the next time I brush my teeth.
I don't know if its a medical thing like with my throat or just a really bad gag reflex.
