I don't see Poole getting to play much considering Jon Hood was a higher rated recruit than him last year and Hood barely ever saw the floor. Yeah people say that was because of the team we had and we didnt need him but from what I saw, there were some games UK could have used him, like say, the last one. When no one else was hitting anything, cal never gave anyone else and opportunity to try to contribute. I know that the starting 5was one of the best ever but you still have to have a deep bench, which we kinda had, but they rarely played. I think cal overplayed the starters at times when he could have been playing Hood and some others. So no, I dont think it matters that we have Poole. The question is, will he even get to play?

^ Hood was ranked #92 in his class. Poole is ranked # 51. They each have a unique game and I think with the talent that was lost this year, they will both see a lot of the floor.

I heard Poole can be a good shooting guard. If this is true, Coach Calipari might let Poole be the backup shooting guard (behind Lamb) and Jon Hood behind Darius Miller and DeAndre Liggins as a small forward.

When I think of the University of Kentucky's team for next season, I think they're going to be more balanced than usual. Saying that, I think bench players (including Poole and Jon Hood) will get more playing time than last year's bench players.

According to this site, Hood was ranked 40 in the nation. http://rivals.yahoo.com/basketballrecrui...cyvR_SO5B4

^ Either way...Poole is ranked 33 in this years class according to Rivals. No matter which way you slice it, Poole is a more highly touted recruit.
