Behanan tabbed state's top player
#1
Bowling Green High School senior-to-be Chane Behanan has been tabbed as the best player in Kentucky by Rick Bolus' High Potential Recruiting Service.

The 6-foot-8 Behanan, who came to Bowling Green last summer from Cincinnati, was one of the most dominant players in the state as a junior and was named first-team All-State on The Courier-Journal's All-State team.

Behanan holds a bunch of scholarships offers, including one from Louisville.

Bolus ranks Shelby County sophomore Darryl Hicks as the No. 2 prospect, followed by Lexington Catholic junior Jaylen Beckham, Warren Central senior George Fant and Clark County senior Vinny Zollo. Jeffersontown junior Desmond Dorsey is next in the rankings.

After Dorsey there are six seniors listed: Christian County's Anthony Hickey, Elliott County's Timmy Knipp, Christian County's Donovan Kates, Paducah Tilghman's Josh Forrest, Eastern's Remy Abell and Clark County's Robbie Stenzel.

The state's top sleeper, according to Bolus, is Lafayette 6-foot-7 freshman-to-be Jackson Davis. He's the son of former University of Kentucky player Jonathan Davis.

Among those listed on the second 12 were Mason County's Treg Setty, Tates Creek's Ryan Fucci and Marcellus Barksdale, Eastern's Lyonell Gaines, Iroquois' Jermaine Jackson, Fairdale's Josh Stroud and Eastern's Armon Marks.

Watched him play in AAU last summer and during the season last year. As a 8th grader this year he held his own. He is going to be a good one.
