Coaches on the hot-seat

heaven44 Wrote:Do know the Huff kid will end up at PCC next yr. with Justin Haddix, and a real good chance Kendall will be there too. She is very unhappy at Breathitt. But if not at PCC then at LCC for sure. She won't be at Breathitt just about positive. And this is not no rumor, it's facts.Told you 2 yrs. ago about Salyers going to PCC instead of back to Breathitt when Noble was hired I was right about that and I'm right about this.

I have heard all season that she would go to LCC, if she transfers to either one of these schools with the young talent that each school has they will dominate this region.

bobcatbball Wrote:Noble needs to go he has done all the kids wrong he has not taught them anything. He ran one of the best big men in the region off in Cody Moore, and will not give one of the best senior guards in the region a chance to play in Jade Haddix. Jade gives a 110% ever time he steps on the floor, you would think Noble would give him the same.

Are you serious??? One of the best big men in region??? Never heard his name brought up in any conversations....Did he have some impressive stats that went un-notice???

Listen BobcatBball you really need to calm down and leave the Noble family alone..Doug and his family are good people...I'm not going to go into a big speech defending Doug because a good moral person don't need to be defended. You really have a lot of anger and I really do feel sorry for you so I'm not going to say anything negative towards you..That's not what this message board is about...Looking forward to the game and hopefully you can come out to the game tonight...Should be a good one!!!!!

bobcatbball Wrote:No that big brilliant Doug Noble that you tj10 call a coach dont keep stats. Cody was an outstanding basketball player untill Doug came along. Jade Haddix is one of the best guards in the region and he gets o respect from Noble. Thats why we no longer give the Nobles 000000 respect. You can take your self on with them when they go because it will make Breathitt a better place to live. Mr. Salyers told us a long time ago that Doug could not coach we should have listen to him because he took his son to P.C.C.:dontthink

Sounds like you should apply for the Coaching job at Breathitt. You seem to know about unheard of talent.

Kendall isnt going anywhere. This stuff about her being unhappy is completley false and nonsense. Doug on the other hand may. And Im sorry but coach Noble had nothing to do with Cody Moore being lazy, Im not bashing the kid in no way, shape, or form, its just the facts.

Listen I'm sorry if I have ruffled your feathers. That was not my intention and I did not mean to sound negative about any young man. I was just stating that I had not heard his name mention in any publication or on any forums. I am sure he is a good player and I hate that he is not playing now because there is nothing like high school basketball come tournament time in the state of Ky.... I do know Coach Noble and I do believe he is a fine person and that he is a good coach... Sorry, if I have offended you.....

If the season was over, why would they be on the hot-seat? They would be on their way out in that case.

Also, most coaches that have teams that are still around, are probably safe.

I don't understand the talk of Hammonds to Mercer County. hammonds might leave but why to mercer county?

Coach Cundiff at mercer county is doing a tremendous job, 20-8 this year with a chance to win district and region. I believe this is the 1st 20 win season that Mercer county has had since the early 1990's. Maybe you are just assuming that Cundiff gets another job elsewhere. But kind of hard to throw a man a replacement when he has one of the top 3 teams in the region who were predicted to be #7 in the cats pause preseason, By the way, he is #3 and has beaten both #1 & #2 in the region.

Coach Hammonds will not leave LCC. He has been given some time. We only lost two seniors who started. I think we will be so much better next year.

Scotty doesn't know Wrote:Ive heard a lot of rumors about Pikeville's coach. I really think that they underachieved this year but they should be one of the top teams in the 15th next year.

Then there should be no reason to replace him . One thing about rumors, they travel fast. This reminds me of a horse breeder who had a trusty steed named rumors. His neighbor asked him how he came up with that name, and his answer was "He travels so fast'', I named him---RUMORS---

Coach Hammonds is not going anywhere. He is going to be at LCC for another 3 or 4 years, or as long as he wants to stay. Lcc loses only 1 starter and will only have 1 senior on the team next year. Pretty sure the other coaches in the 14th region know that LCC will be a team to be reckoned with for the next two seasons. Whether he stays or goes will be totally up to him. Trust me, lots of people are making sure he wants to stay. trust me, I am close to the program and do know what is going on.

Cole Cornett is the only senior starter. Ryan Brock started early in the year.

Someone please explain to me why what players you have coming back has anything to do with how good a coach you are or what kind of team your expected to have for the next two years does as well??? being a good coach is about winning with what you have,, its about having the low talent seasons and still getting 18 wins. So what you are saying is that he has to have talent to win,, shoot give the fry kid at wendy's Shelby Valleys Team or Perry Centrals and he can win either region,, Good coaches win when there team is not supposed to, bottom line!!!

What are they doing to make sure he stays? Give him a raise to 80k.

He goes 11-17 again or lose first round of district he might not have option of staying as long as he wants.
