I was there, good win for Rock. Good crowd supporting the Lady Rockets. They played with more intensity than the first meeting.

I have said it before. Rockcastle is a HARD team to beat when they bring their "A" game. Rock had very balanced scoring, 4 players had at least 8 points. Michaela Hunter had 9. It seems like a different player is stepping up every night. Shandlee Burton had a big game the other night, now it was Hunter.

Good stuff.

One important thing to note. Hammond was in foul trouble much of the game. I know she sat at least 5 minutes of this game. Players like Abney and Alexander stepped up big time.

This is just my opinion, but the next tough game for the Lady Rockets will be Feb 1st at Madison Central. One that I will definitely try to be at. I think if the Rockets can defeat them they possibly could win the state. Now I know what your thinking, Marion County and a host of other good schools will be in the tournament, but Rockcastle seems to be very good this year in big away games. Maybe to complacent at home for the lesser teams. Just my opinion, and Feb. 1st will tell the tale.

Again the rock proves me wrong. Great road win and will be able to hold the #1 ranking in mt. top ten,as I said where they should been in the start of the season.
