1st round of Beach Ball Classic in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

SC 75- St Francis (Baltimore) 64 in the Beach Ball Classic at Myrtle Beach.

St Francis is ranked top 30 in the nation in the ESPN rankings. Scott Co was up 75-55 when SC cleared the bench and SF went on a 9-0 run to finish the game. It was fun to watch 6'8" Akron signee Dakota Euton battle 6'8" UConn recruit Greg Lewis. Lewis finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds while Euton finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Chad Jackson lead all scorers with 24 points on 6/8 shooting. St Francis had a lineup full of D1 quality players including Sam Cassell, Jr., who's father was a long time NBA star.

Up by 20 against the 30th ranked team in the country and then coasting is pretty music to KY and one of the better teams in the state. Congratulations.

Big win for SC and huge game for Jackson. Who will they play tomorrow?

SC plays Wheeler High School from Ga tomorrow at 5:15 pm. I don't know much about Wheeler except they did very well in the City of Palms tournament in Florida. The CofP and the BBC are the two best tournaments in the country most years.

Congrats Scott Co. That's the way to represent Kentucky! Keep it up. The Beach Ball Classic is one of the premier tournaments in the nation.

Wheeler is usually one of the best teams in the state of Georgia.

This is a solid win for the Cards. Nice to see them representing KY well!
