BGR,
Here is my final story on Somerset for the week.
The 2009 Somerset Briar Jumpers Football team have several things in common with the 1983-84 teams. An undefeated regular season, and a blood line.

Great story.
I remember those Jumper teams. From '81 to '84 those Somerset teams accomplished a lot: Twice Runner-up ('81, '83), unbeaten in '84 until the Semi-Finals, and the '82 team was great but lost a heartbreaker to Boyle 28-27 and had to stay at home in the playoffs with a 10-1 record.
I wish the Jumpers well this weekend and may the finally put to rest the title of "Best program without a State title."
