Burchett has a huge night, throwing and running the ball.
Jamerson will have a nice night as well, especially if Roark trys to play man to man against the Cats.
I think we can all agree that this may not be the Middlesboro that we are use to seeing in years past, but Roark is a tough athlete at QB, but not enough to stop the Blackcats.

Middlesboro is 2A, right? Isn't South Larual 5A and out of the playoffs? I'm a "noobie" and I'm not well acquainted with how Ky football works with districts, etc. 5A is bigger than 2A, right? Where I come from DI is the biggest and DVI is the smallest.

Yes, Kentucky schools go from 6A to 1A, 6A being the largest and 1A being the smallest.

You just made my point. Middlesboro program has gone from beating those type schools (South) on a regular basis. To winning 3 games a year. Things are getting worse.

With two common opponents (Bath County and Knott County), it seems that the Jackets offense is capable, but they need to step it up on Defense.

Good luck to Boro 2nite, hope a no injury game......

Pburg in this one, even though I have never seen them play! Middlesboro is down, and didnt look that good when we played them. Good luck to both teams!!!

Pburg wins this one. Really next week is the first quality oponent they will face in the playoffs. If Corbin does win this week they are still down for Corbin. This Pburg team should coast right into the state championship.

Im pulling for P'burg to win state this year. Ive always been a big fan of P'burg Football.

P-Burg has a shot at state.

I love my Mountain Football, but I am afraid that the winner of the 2A east battle gets to go to Bowling Green for an old fashion butt whooping by Fort Campbell. They are big, fast, and talented. Regardless, I'll be there backing them, go Cats.

I forgot you are right. No one beats them in 2A what was I thinking.

Prestonsburg is the best team we faced this year. Great ground game, great qb, coach Derosset does a great job. Prestonsburg is never out of it with the passing game they have. I'd like to see them go all the way. Coach Roark does a good job at Middlesboro as well but I believe Prestonsburg is just too strong this year.

Prestonsburg jumps up by around 30-35..rest the starters,,wins by 22..

I would really like to see Middlesboro pull the huge upset in this one..But dont even see that being possible..I'm gonna take P'Burg in this one by as many as they want...Best of luck to both.

We could only hope for that close of a game. I'm a great fan of both of these teams. As most know though, I'm a realistic fan. With that said, realistically the Blackcats will win by six or more touchdowns.
