How many carries on the year, does he have?

I counted 84 carries but have no stats vs. Marion or Alcoa. Would it be fair to say he's rushed 100 times?

How does that number compare to the others?

Maybe so......we don't have the best backfield, linebackers, recievers, or quarterback. At Boyle it's all about playing together as 1 unit. Team Ball!

There is no stat there for those games but the cumalative is and it is correct because it is for 8 games.

hmm this is a easy one no one is close to Boyle but it takes more than a great back to make a great backfield. when your o-line penetrates to the safety's you have a GREAT backfield. its a package deal. Spencer county(i know there not 4a ) but there the hardest working backs ive seen because the don't have any help.

BOOOM hit the nail on the head my friend Boyle is a machine. they Don't make any mistakes. but more than that you got great kids lots to be proud of.

Yeah, Bell doesn't have anything but running backs. Our line does nothing to help them. We're nowhere close to Boyle.

So he's carried 115 times.

Davenport remember is just a soph.

How exactly does that translate to the discussion about this year? The discussion is about the best backfield in 4A this year. There are no extra points for "potential."

I think the Bell backfield has a legitimate argument to make for the top. However the notion that a 'few more carries' would be something to behold is the same argument many others on that list or in this discussion can easily make.

Boyle no doubt is a machine...but bells right there beside them bell plays team ball starting out against alcoa they made some mistakes but now as the season has progressed bell does not make no mistakes...and is out for one thing another state ring just like any other team in the state of kentucky...
#45
Boyle or Bell? I'll take ACS's backfield before I would either of those...thats just my opinion though.. you can take it or leave it.
#46
Bell County has the best backfield in 4A just because of depth and at that position we have a multitude of athlete's any body on the roster is capable of running the ball

Quote:If we are talking about getting a few more carries, I would say that about Rees before I would Davenport just based on 89 vs. 115

If a player carries the ball 115 times in 8 games, only playing in the first half (mostly) that is around 14 carries in ONE half, which translated to 28 in a game.

If a player carries the ball 89 times in 8 games, only playing in the first half (mostly) that is around 11 carries in ONE half, which translated to 22 in a game.

Basically, McShara is getting 62 more yards per game on 6 less carries than Davenport.

I am usually defending Bell County but in this case the better RB this year is Rees McShara, by numbers and by the naked eye.

yea even the big boyz up front give it to #52 heck

And no one else has? :please:

What an arrogant statement.

If this is for best backfield and not individual back, than LC should be in the conversation or atleast the top 5 in my opinion.
#51
The matchup between Dusty Miller and Shawn Grimm was for sure a matchup for runs in the regional championship game my senior year. Rockcastle's team in 2006 rushed a total of 3,941 yards playing 13 games.

And they are 15th. best in 4A with all that depth at Team Rushing.
