I think that the team has great potential. I've always had faith in the seniors this year. I have played with those girls before and they all have alot of heart, experience, and just love for the game.
They have their height in Hogston, their speed in Yates, their skills in Smith and Conley....the whole team should put up great numbers and where there isn't points for a player there should be PLENTY of assists.
I can see them making it to Regionals this year and hopefully being the underdog. Everyone has underestimated them so far and if they make it far then proving everyone wrong is what they should do. I wish them the best of luck and would love to see them take it all of the way.
I will definetly let you know more within the next few days after I see them face a hyped up PC team.

Er is a pretty good team i will admit my wrongs they impressed me the other night they need to work on their press break and need to work on pounding the ball inside more... the big girl against undersized teams needs to have the ball inside 30% of the time.

I think the talent is there, but they need to work on their defense and get into a better playing condition. That will come as the season goes on. They need to work on their man-to-man defense because they can't play a zone defense if you are behind late in a game.They really need to work on this kind of defense where everyone knows were they should be especially away from the ball. They will have a great season. They have one of the best 1-2 punches in the region with Conley and Hogoston. They also need someone to step up and handle the ballhandling duties if Yates gets in early foul trouble.

I agree with you on that one ERblue4ever... Those girl are going to be really good they just need to work on some things, and from what I have heard those girls have worked really hard in practice over the last week. From my opinion and from what some of the player I have talked to have sadi it looks to me like those girls are going to be really competitive this year.. Good Luck in your season LADY WARRIORS!~!

Im sorry but when you blow a 15 point lead it is no ones fault but the coach and team that lost it the refs do not blow a 15 point lead just like when we lost to you all in the boys 15th championship we blew what a 20 something point lead no ones fault but ours so...

East Ridge lost last night and STILL proved to me that they will be one of the best teams in the region. I won't blame the entire game on the refs. They did have something to do with it whether you see that or not. You can be biased for your team all that you want but you all know here that I speak the truth whether that is bad for my team or not. Pike Central couldn't handle East Ridge last night and PC didn't beat us, we beat ourselves. After getting sick and tired of getting manhandled all night and getting frustrated with the game in general our girls gave up during the final minutes of overtime. Everyone predicted that Central would OWN us but did they? No. We had the lead for 99% of regulation time. We have amazing talent and determination. Yates, Conley, Hogston, and Smith put on a great showing of their abilities last night. I will tell you some stats as soon as I get them, so far the only ones I have are the free throws and well, with all the fouls called...that should tell you something, whether you want to believe it or not, that's up to you.

Well it is just the beggining of season Lady Warrior still have 2 1/2 months left to play basketball there is no reason to get so mad about this game when there is alot more left.. This is just the first of season. Just play hard and work on all of your mistakes from this game....

The refs were not the promblem tongiht. If there was the REFS were for sure for EASTRIDGE, i mean who got the T in the game Central did. And ER could have kicked the ball in the other night the way there shots were falling. ER is should have not even come close to CENTRAL. Im sorry that at you must blame the refs for there poor execution of basketball.

ER has a great team and is lookin real good this year there goin to b a big contender
as for however this got turned into a thread about the game the other nte yes ER lost and yes the refs were a big factor and u want 2 talk abou tthe T then ill tell u wut come over to ER and look at Yates leg which got bustedagianst the ground when haley football tackled her out of a layup and somehow wus called a walk. I do agree that PC has a good team im not tryin one bit 2 take that away from them bt the fact is ER dominated PC and u all need to these girls some respect for it the same as we do u and as for u all talkin about us whinin bout refs since ER wus established ive read 10 times more posts from PC whinin about blown games by refs then ER so dont run ur mouth cus we feel like complainin when it happens to us. just remember PC still has to go through ER agian only next time its n region we'll c how that one turns out and c whos cryin then.

Well Scout... the refs actually were DEFINATELY for PCC. Maybe if you weren't from PCC you would agree. But ofcourse you wouldn't. Anyways ER's shots don't fall, they are just good shooters. This thread is about East Ridge and East Ridge only. Not the game. So either move your comments to another thread or just keep them to yourself.
