No doubt. Belfry got two long TD runs and Pikeville came back with a long pass to set up a TD. In the end Pikeville had a go-ahead drive, but Belfry got an interception to seal the deal. As a bonus, we got to see Johnny Webb get a little excited on the Pikeville sideline. That was worth the 3 bucks we paid to get in. I'm really just playing. Looks like Johnny and those guys are doing a good job with that team. At least he cares enough to get excited.
In the 8th grade game it was a blowout. 0-0 after one quarter, then Belfry explodes for 30 in the second quarter. Shane is doing a good job at Pikeville. He has a nice team, but a little short on talent right now. Belfry should win the county championship easy, but the big test will be the Big Sandy Conference. Good Luck to all the kids who played and btw Pikeville brought a great crowd. The sad part is that it was bigger than the crowd their high school brought to Belfry a couple of weeks ago.
