This thread is just for fun. It is always fun to be a monday morning quarterback. I like the staff. Anything posted by me is just an opinion and is not meant to belittle anyone or to say I am right and another poster is wrong. You know timing may not be the best but it is always fun to see how answer. I support the cats fully and reading other post some people feel this is off topic. But I do not think anyone should be replaced or anything in that manner. I just listed people I think has coached at various levels in the county. I not really for sure who is the current coordinator. I just know that John Paul left. I maybe wrong but i think it is done as a group now.

I disagree.Back needs to be replaced.Justin would be the best.He has a large "fresh" knowledge of defenses.

Justin Haddix needs to be the offensive coordinator. I would let Coach Holcomb run the defense.

This is pointless. I would assume if BC was 4-0 there would be no such thread.... What is fun about this, especially knowing that this is a High School sports thread, one that should not be pitting the students, especially of BC, in an adversarial type conversation about THEIR coaches.

Breathitt county was down by 40 points at the half to Lexington Christian. This is not acceptable and whoever is running the defense is simply not getting it done at all. But obviously the blame needs to be pointed at the head coach. The defense was terrible against Perry county the previous week so the head coach needs to tell his defensive coach, " Coach, this isn't working, we need to do this instead." He obviously hasn't done that. Don't blame your defensive coach. But to give up 40 points in a half is awefull.

It is his job to fix it as a head coach. The head coach is ultimately responsible for all aspects.

Give Lexington Christian some credit, they have a nice ball team and good athletes, BC needs to understand, one player does not make a team, they need to get back to basics and fix what is wrong with the team as a whole.:ChairHit:

Breathitt is just having a down year. I remembered when we played them in 92 and beat them 52-0 in a half. I think they went 1 and 10 that year and still went to the playoffs. Its not really the Defensive Coordinators fault. Maybe the kids arent quite as good as to what you are used to having. You still got to support what you have. Remember this, its not the X's and O's, its the Jimmies and Joes. Breathitt will be back in the hunt soon, if not this year then maybe the next. And if I was going to pick a D Coordinator it would be Shorty Combs. He was a BEAST.
