Dehoff is the best QB Russell has. Maybe they just need different play calling!

Obviously you were not at the game. Anyone who was there would agree that the stats do not speak of what actually happened. For one there were a few plays where the ball was catchable and the receiver just failed to catch the ball. (The biggest drop being dropped by jones that would have been taking to the house for six points). Also when they roll him out, he has 3,4,5 defenders on him before he can even check his receivers. Yes, 0-10 sounds bad but when you have a sophomore starting for you, the kid will experience some rough games. Ashland being one of these games with their very aggressive/ quick to the ball defense. So if I were the coach I would stick with dehoff because not only is he your best qp as of right now but with a few more games under his belt, he has the potential to grow into a very good quarter back.

roark has not done anything to get his position taken from him and sparks has three tds in four games so they have the depth dehoff isnt the only option
