In the spirit of fairness and balance the time has FINALLY come to post a thread about a 5 Star recruit potentially choosing to attend UL.
Seriously, Melo is the #2 Center Prospect in next year's class and rated by Rivals as the #5 player in the class overall. He is 7' 270 and has outstanding face up skills. It is between UL and Syracuse.

270's not that big for a 7' guy, but he certainly isn't starving to death either. It's about like a 6'5 guy being 245. Think linebacker or tight end size.

Shaq at Cole HS 275
Shaq when he was at LSU 300
Shaq now 325
So to my point, he is Shaq size. Shaq is 7-1, so the extra 5 pounds goes to the 1 extra inch, making them virtually the exact same size at this stage of their career.

I would love to see him at Syracuse. That's a big ol' boy.

Yeah, it's been reported that Syracuse will be his ultimate decision, but with recruiting, who knows.
