Fort Campbell in a close one.

Fort Campbell will win this one with their physicality... OC is just not a physical team. The good news for everyone in 2A is this will be the first chance for FC's weaknesses to be exposed.

Fort Campbells got it

OC looked pretty physical last night against a team that FC beat only by 7

It will be a great game against probably two of the best teams in the whole class 2A system. Im staying with OC

Trigg County is a contradicition...they are physical up front, but finesse at the skill positions and on defense.
On a side note: OC's running game has been looking pretty good this year..that is the key to their success IMO.

look at woodwards qb numbers for oc, then youll see that not only do they have a running game, but a passing game too. as far as belfry, russell, and sc, belfry will come out of the region, they dont play anyone all year long, with the exception of ironton. its almost a guarantee that every year belfry will be in state. explain how fc only beat trigg by 7? it will be a good game, but im riding oc all the way to state. their physical, fast, well disciplined, and experienced. Remember anyone is beatable

Remember anyone is beatableryhayd2... I brought up OC's running game as a compliment because we all know they have a solid passing game.
Belfry plays more than Ironton.... they also played Henry Clay and Pikeville as well as a district matchup with Sheldon Clark already. Henry Clay and Ironton both are on a different tier than anyone that OC has played this year... BUT Belfry did lose both those games.
There are a lot of reasons why Trigg may have played FC so well.... for one they had the athleticism and team speed to matchup with them as well as the size up front.
Can OC win this? Heck yeah... the fact that trigg is the only team to remotely come close to beating FC works in Catholic's favor... but I am here to tell you that you are about to see defensive pressure like you haven't seen before this year... the Eagles will be in OC's backfield all night and it will disrupt that finesse offense by large means... the best friend of OC on Friday will be Houston kamuf and Stewart Ijames..because if they can't get running yards then FC will be eating Woodward for lunch... you have got to keep that defense honest.

I think OC has a chance, but in the end, Fort Campbell will be a bit too much. Fort Campbell by 2-3 TDs dependent on if they punch another one in late in the game.
