Always go with your heart BF4L!
I honestly don't know who will win this game. I believe Prestonsburg has pulled together as a team a little more with the wins over SV and ER. I know absolutely nothing about Middlesboro, so I won't pick a winner in this one. (Although I would like to see the Blackcats with the victory)
Good Luck!

P'burg pulls wins over East Ridge and Shelby Valley and people are saying they turned it around? This is still the P'burg team that didn't gel early and let alot of teams they were better than beat them. I am pulling for the Blackcats I really am, but I'm not sold on them or Derosset. They have played with to little of heart for me all year and I see no reason why they will change in the biggest game of the year. I'm gonna say M'boro by 10+.

I don't think I said that they turned it around..I just said that they are playing together as a team more. There's a big difference.:thumb:

With wins over the powerhouses Magoffin County (1-9), Pike Central (4-6), Shelby Valley (4-6), and East Ridge (3-6) I'm sure P'burg is more than ready to topple M'boro. PLEASE!!!!!!!!! I don't care how much better they are playing as a team. P'burg can't beat anyone the way they have played this year unless they are hands down better than them, and they will not be hands down better than M'boro. The drive down to Bell Co. will itself take its toll on the Blackcats and they will continue their ways as they have all season and walk away with another convincing LOSS. As far as SC claming to be a powerhouse because we beat P'burg. Where is that posted? Tell me where it is. Most the SC people I know still see Belfry as the team to beat, and Leslie as a close second. We all know that we are capable of beating either team if we come out and play well and they do not, but never have we said that we were a powerhouse or the team to beat. All I do know is that come Friday P'burg will either play like everyone thought they would at the before the season started, or they will start basketball practice Monday.

But I wish the best of luck against Middlesboro and play with heart and give it everything you got on the field, that way if you do loose then you aint got nothing ot be ashamed of. Good Luck

I respect your opinion, but one thing that any true football fan knows is that you never say never!!!!
There has always been upsets that are just unbelieveable...I remember a few years back a certain belfry/sheldon clark game that didn't turn out the way everyone thought it would.

He may feel that way, but most people who understand football know that is not the case. SC is a good team and can beat anyone in the region if they come out and play well and the other team overlooks them or plays poor. Are they the favorites, NO WAY. But they are a team that if I were an opposing coach I would not want to play.

I was referring to your statement "P-burg CAN'T beat anyone the way they have played this year....etc". That's pretty close to never in my book. Besides, it was just a phrase.
Let's try to reel our emotions back in and keep this on track....Prestonsburg/Middlesboro.
Sheldon Clark, Belfry, P-burg, Shelby Valley all have the same chance to make it to the carpet, let's hope that one of them does!

Sheldon Clark is a good team that could make some noise in the playoffs this year definitely, but I don't think this is their breakout year. They had a horrible year last year, and are turning it around like all good teams do. This years blackcat team has taken the place of last years cardinal team. Everyone thought Prestonsburg would be good this year, but they have disappointed me and everyone else in Prestonsburg. However, wins build confidence no matter who the team is that they defeat. I think that's the advantage of having SV, ER, and PC at the last part of our schedule. P-burg is riding on a 3 game winning streak, and have won 4 out of the last 5. I can see P-burg's confidence playing a major factor in this weeks game. They just need to avoid turnovers and I think they can win this game.
