Called this one, even in OT!
Sounds like a great game, wish I would have woke up and listened to it.

E-town stayed right in it. I was so scared at the end of regulation that they were going to win. They stripped 2 threes in 2 possession to take the lead, Adia missed her free throws, luckily Asia got the foul and made her shots to get them back in it. It was crazy in the last 10 seconds. Congratulations Iroquois, I've been pulling for you girls all year as the #1 team in the state. This shows just that. You truly deserved it, loaded with talent. Best of luck to the Mathies twins as they further their basketball careers and all other Raiders.

BOWLING GREEN — If Coach Al Northington does ever slow down long enough to write the book about his life and the amazing turnaround of the Iroquois program, that book will have a heck of an ending.
In his 10 years at Iroquois, Northington has seen the program go from a laughingstock of Louisville, forfeiting games because it didn't have enough players and losing games by 50-plus points, to a Houchens Industries Sweet Sixteen champion. The Raiders beat top-ranked Elizabethtown 55-47 Saturday night in overtime.
In the extra period, Iroquois outscored the Panthers 11-3 to win the program's first title........

Asia & Adia are not twins, just sisters in the same grade.

I didn't think they were either but the announcer yesterday said so. I figured they would know more about that than I did. Thanks for clearing that up.

Congrats to both teams on getting here and to Iroquois on the title!
