Elliott Co. vs. Shelby Valley: Youtube Edition
#1

Do you guys see those no calls?
#2
All I see is Elliot County throwing the ball into Shelby Valley's hands, Elisha Justice splitting the defense and nailing some nice jumpers, couple of nice blocks, and a nice slam.......among other great play by Shelby Valley.

Valley just out played Elliott Co. Great job guys!!!

Not really, but I do see a bunch of loose ballhandling by Elliott County. I do, however, think it is very uncharacteristic of EC to turn the ball over that much. If you are trying to insinuate that Valley got away with a lot, you won't find many in agreement here. If either team got away with physical play, it was EC.

Two best defenders in EKY, maybe even the state in Justice & Bryant.

I just watched it again, only 1 missed call that I seen and that was at the beginning of the video, where I'm guessing Adams fouls one of the EC players.

Please go through and watch the video again and note to the rest of us where a foul is.

Yes, you must.

Backtipping is only a foul if you touch someone. A good ballhandler protects the ball to keep it from being knocked away from behind.

Make that two, where Ferguson elbowed Adams.

All I see is someone thats cant get over that Elliot LOST...get over it and move on. That was in the past and there are other games in the future.

Awesome game SV!!!

I mean really it wasn't like Elliott was undefeated coming into the game nor was it a make or break call. For every call that Shelby Valley got away with I'm sure Elliott got away with one also. Get off the high horse and come back down to reality Elliott is a really good team but they are beatable.

I think it was a good no call, both players were going for the ball and got tangled up. Who gets the foul? Call a double if anything. But when both players got up and took maybe a step or two, the Elliott Co. player looks back, throws a forearm into Valleys chest. That should have been the same thing as throwing a intentional elbow or maybe even a punch.

To say there was bad calls against EC is BS. One on the top of my head at the moment is when the EC player was laying with half his body on the court out of bounds and saves the ball in bounds, it becomes EC ball. You cant argue bad calls in this game. For everyone the EC fans can describe on here, I can post another that helps EC.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It is the size of the fight in the dog.

Lets make some more excuses again

I can take people complaining about their team losing a ballgame. However, this is getting pretty ridiculous.

Great post.

Apparently, some people think that anytime a player from the other team knocks the ball away, it should be a foul. I guess they changed the rules to where a foul does not require actual physical contact.

What no-calls do you speak of? As was mentioned earlier, the only play I see that was missed was a possible foul on Adams at the beginning, then a forearm thrown by an Elliott player immediately afterward. Other than that, I just saw a lot of good defense being played by SV.
