I recently bought a couple of items off of a gentleman on Ebay. Paid for them as soon as he gave me the bill with combined shipping.
I saw a couple other auctions that I was interested in and when I tried to bid on them it kept giving me a message that I had made the maximum amount of purchases allowed by this seller. He and I e mailed back and forth several times and he cannot seem to figure out why it won't let me bid. He even went as far as to add a BIN so I could try to get it that way. No luck.
I had to use my wifes account and purchase the other two items. I looked at a third to make a bid on and I can't with hers either.
Why would someone only allow 2 purchases per person. Wouldn't you want to sell to whomever would buy them?
I'm confused. Has anyone else ever had this problem?

I have never had any problems with E-Bay.
Maybe you should get of hold of the e-bay people and ask them what is going on.

Im not sure either what could be going on with it. You may have to do what Newarkcatholicfan said and contact ebay. Or just search for the product from a different seller.
