This should be a very good year for the Lady Hornets. This year they have all returning starters except one (Kelli Hall). Coming off of last years winning season the Lady Hornets finished 24 and 6 losing to Johnson Central 4-3 in the District in a very hard fought contest. These girls really have the offensive bats, defensive skills and pitching that it takes to be a contender in the 57th District and the 15 Region.

I think Magoffin County could have a very good team this year. They have good bats and really improved defensively by the end of the last season.

They should be good this year, I think Hall was not only the only starter they lost but the only girl they lost as well... As for Central they can say just about the same thing too, good luck to both teams this upcomming season.

i think the magoffin girls will be outstanding this year, and years to come. they have all there girls except kelli hall. leanna m. and brandi h. have the best leadership. they kept the team going, good bats. paige fl. has good bats well so does everyone else.

MC will field 3 Seniors this year, and I assume these girls should fill the leadership roles for this still young team. Although the girls that hornetstudent55 mentioned are very capable to wear the leadership cleats and are likely to lead in some of the statistics it is asking alot to show leadership on and off the field while only Sophs.
