I dunno if she has signed, but I am almost positive Pikeville College offered her a scholarship. She is very good, but she was the only really good player for Belfry. The rest of the team is just average.

Thacker was is a very good player, however the rest of the team was far from average. Meghan Staten-Jr-#14 was the #2 OH in the region this year. Amy McCoy-So-#11 the best MB...Brittney Branham-Jr.-#21 Best Server and excellent all round player. Top Libero--Alexis Howard-So.-#3. Katie Hubbard-Sr.-#22 worked very hard to run the offense and always overlooked as are all setters in our region. You don't win region titles with average (6) players and 1 good one.
As for Paige she has been contacted by most of the Mid-South schools along with some of the Div. III colleges.

I agree Tin Cup. Paige was a excellent player and will be greatly missed. IMO, her leadership will be missed more than her playing ability and by no means is this a knock on her playing ability. There is still a lot of talent returning on the Belfry team.
I wish Paige the best in whatever she decides to do (volleyball or not).

Paige is an excellent volleyball player, leader, and person. Paige has great work ethics as well, she really worked hard off the court to make herself as good as she is. Paige has been offered a lot of chances to play college volleyball. I hope she decides to play college volleyball, but if she doesnt' I wish her all the best with her future and she will be missed in the 15th region.

IMO she should sign. But i was told that she was not going to sign because she cant get anywhere but college on it so she was gonna focus on Engineering for college and make a good living

This would be a GREAT idea to focus on education rather than getting a scholarship just so you can play volleyball for four (or maybe five) more years. For all athletes, education should be above athletics, including those who can go to professional leagues.
