Jackson Co. 64 - South Floyd 6
#1
It's been a tough season for the Raiders. The Generals pick up win #2 this season at the expense of another Floyd County team.
#2
Can someone elaborate what has happened to South Floyd?
There is simply no reason for this score against Jackson.
#3
injuries.

To elaborate would take me a day or so. But in short, IMO not enough boys being allowed to come from under thier mommies skirt to show thier manhood in football.

I was once told by a Doc that he seen more boys injuried by playing basketball than football...go figure.

I have to say, a season like SF has had but yet have player, #44, to be ranked in the top 3 in the state Class 1A and top 15 overall for rushing, WOW, but again go figure.

What are these boys thinking?

But SF has had to play with 4-5 Seniors, even tho they started out with more, and many small unexperienced freshman, so the best to SF in a few years, if the boys will stick with the staff.

yeah may be so... if they stick with there staff. but why not give jackson a hand for going on the road. a 3 hour trip to know where land and giveing SF a beat down i say way to go jackson and SF better luck next year boys it was a bad season for both teams.

Dang....Jackson let the Raiders have it.

Great job Jackson and keep on working hard. Someone said that Jackson Co. started running the DOUBLE WING. Coach Jones from Estill Co. has made a alot of people believers with this offense.
If im not mistaken there is alot more than 3 plays like everyone says.

Jackson could be a good place to coach. The kids seem pretty tough over there.
Timbo64, How does Powell match up with a Wayne or Taylor since Jackson has played all 3 teams? Just curious to input from someone who has saw all 3 of these teams. I do not think running a double wing offense is your answer to success. You need to install a 50 defense and focus primarily on Defense and special teams. Take it from someone who knows. DEFENSE wins championships and the doublewing will not beat a good team unless you play a sub-par schedule.
