Problems with LCC!!

I want to hear the stories, every team that has played them this year has had problems out of this team. When played on their home field they use referees that aren't even affiliated with the KHSAA. Did everyone know this? This is just a ver unclassy team!

Well I don't really think they are unclassy. I honestly think the bulk of that should go to the fans. They are the unclassy ones to my opinion. They say rude things to the players, coaches, referees, and other fans for other teams. It's not very enjoyable to see.

Do you understand the ramifications of what you are saying? No KHSAA sponsored event can be played without officials that are licensed.

My rec team this past spring ran into problems with one of Letchers teams that was coached by Coach Day. It resulted into one of their players being suspended by the PCYSA league, the result came after he attempted to hurt my players and went after a line judge. Day did nothing to resolve the problem befor it got to that point. Including listening to the kid for 15 minutes tell the line judge he was going to attack him and saying he was going to hurt my kids. Needless to say i went nuts on Coach Day.

Well idk i have great respect for coach trent and his players. Fans and so on might be questionable.

You know, this is pathetic. Just because LCCHS wasn't very good last year and now they are much improved, you say mean and spiteful things. I guess instead of bashing us you could say. Good Season Cougars.

I have been to a couple of the LCC games and havn't seen or heard anything bad, they really had some great players this year and that makes people angry.

I can't say that I know much about soccer or this team, but everyone needs to watch what is being said in this thread.

Already there has been an accusation that LCC isn't using KHSAA officials. This is a serious claim and should not be made without proof to back it up.

Please watch what you say and consider the effects of what you post on here.

It amazes me how some people get on here and post false info. LCC's players and coaching staff are both full of class. These kids play hard and coach Trent and his assistant have my respect and have had a tremendous impact on my child's life. As far as the ref's go they all are certified officals and are assigned from Hazard. Keep up the great work cougars and you guys were fun to watch and it amazes me how far you have come in such a short time. Keep up the good work coaches, taking a group of young boys and molding them into young men is a hard job and you guys are doing just that.

Did Prestonsburg have to load there players on the bus and leave with time left to be played at a game at Letcher ?

I am just glad that we had a great season. We have a lot of returning players next year. Arianna<---Spelling sorry is just a freshman and led the team in scoring and assist. The next three will be great for lcc soccer.

The reason they left is because the child from Prestonsburg was trying to attack the ref's and would not stop fighting with him and kept getting flag after flag NOT anything to do with LCC , get your facts together just like the guy before said.

Actually, I was at that game because LCC had been reported previosuly. The Pburg boy was literally clotheslined in the box and the referee just turned his head. From what i could tell that was the last straw with the Pburg Coach, so he pulled his team off the field. LCC's coach acknowledged that the game was out of hand AND apologized for his boys. The coach even admitted that his boys were wrong! When the boys loaded the bus, a group of LCC fans/players started yelling at the bus and throwing things at them. Does this define class?

I am not talking about the players at all. The players know better because Coach Trent was a coach of mine for a while before he came to LCC and I know how he is. He is a very good person and has his players acting the same way. But the fans are the reason for this thread I should think.

I was not trying to degrade the LCC program but the facts are facts with what happened to some of the kids on my rec. team and the ref that was attacked at the game (which was the kid from P-burg just for information as to why the altercation may have happened this season). However, it was not the high school team or Trent. But was their former coach, Coach Day and some kids from their high school team. Was just giving some insight.

If that was the case which is only your opinion you can't blame Lcc for a ref that's not from lcc making a call, and it is only a accusation where's your proof. Do you actually think that they could continue to play if this was true let me help you. No.

Rec league and high school are totally different, This has nothing to do with the program at LCC. Coach Trent would never let this happen in his program, just ask the parents and kids.

I don't know which game you were watching? No one was as you say clotheslined. P-burg's coach never took control of his players, they cursed the officals over and over and he never put a stop to it.Coach Trent never apologized for his boy's play because they did nothing wrong, unless playing hard is wrong. The problem was with p'burgs players and officals.Ask any P'burg player and they will tell you that coach Trent was tring to help them and settle them down. After the game P'burgs players came by on their way to the bus and shook Coach Trent's hand and thanked him and said they appreciate his help.And as for the LCC players yelling and throwing things at the bus this is a complete lie! As soon as they (p'burg)walked off the field Coach trent ordered his players to the center of the field and they remained there until everyone left! The problem was between the ref's and P'burg not LCC's players or coach. These are the facts!

This is true. LCC boys were in the center of the field and the fans were on the other side of the field. One of p'burgs boys kicked a trash can and turned it over as he left the field but thats the only thing I saw. The LCC fans were kinda of in shock. Ive never seen any team just walk off the field and we weren't really sure what was going on. The problem was definitely between the ref and p'burg players. It was a horribly called game in my opinion. Sad
