Final!

Beechwood was simply more athletic than CovCath.

Beechwood is well coached and they block really well but if you stop there run you've shut down their entire offense because they cannot throw the ball at all besides screens and swing passes.

Beechwood looked like crap, yea an interception for a TD, a busted QB sneak for a TD, other than that your are right..... They cant pass and if you shut down 44 and 24 you got em...
I see Raceland giving them fits if they meet this year...

I believe that JC will beat Cov Cath this year, JC is to host IMO the game of the year. Highlands vs JCHS. Oh and don't forget Belfry, Hazard and Montgomery.

I agree, Raceland, LCA, Hazard and i will even throw Williamsburg in the mix because i really like how balanced there offense is.

I watched this game on TV and if it wasn't for some long passes and long runs Beechwood would have probably gotten beat. I know that it was a rivalry game but all in all I was not that impressed with what I saw.

I'll be the odd man out. I was impressed with Beechwood. I'll go out on a limb and say that nobody in 1A comes withing 2 TDs of them. The Tigers will be your 1A state champs.
