What a hard hitting game!!!! Both teams were laying the lumber tonight. Good to see some life out of the Leslie Co football program.
Harlan had some impressive players. # 34 was a hoss at TB. And they had 2 Dt's who give Leslie fits all night. Their motors never quit running.
Leslie's Freshman QB, #8 Troy Napier, had his best game to date. He completed a bunch of passes and could have well went over 200 yards passing. But they just couldn't score. Dropped 2 TD passes.
I really was just impressed at how hard these 2 teams were hitting and tackling. It was a very fun game to watch, indeed.

I didn't get to go to this one last night; this report is good to hear. I have to admit I was a little, shall we say, "concerned" after watching our JV's first game this year, although there were some injured players.
Way to go Harlan Co. JV!!!

There's no need to be concerned about the JV. Coach Larkey is an outstanding Coach and the younger players will only improve with him at the helm.
