When you know that if you don't get to the game before 5:30 that you will have a hard time finding a seat. The smell of the grills, and the sight of the opposing team. The loud music , and the company of friends, family, former teammates, faculty, all cheering for these kids who go out and leave nothing on the football field. When you come to eagle's nest you will get chills, you will know your in the right place for some good football. If you have not been to JCHS football game, let me be the first to invite you. If you are on the opposing team buckle your chin strap tight, LOL because no one and I mean NO ONE comes in are house and pushes us around.
Please go ahead and give your opinion on the facilities, and your experience at JCHS football game, or the best experience at any high school football game.
I am not the best writer, but just wanted to share my experience every time i go.

Man football friday night at Johnson Central is the ultimate experience. No other high school in east ky. can match it! Most teams that come into the nest are beat before it starts because of the music, fireworks, cannon, and fans.
When Cov. Cath. fans leave JCHS mesmorized by the experience than you know it is what it is, the best place in east ky. to watch a game.

The crowd at Belfry games is great on a "big game" night, but i know from other people that JCHS is probably the best around...I can't wait to see it for myself when Belfry plays there in November.

We will be glad to have you. Looking forward to one of the best games this year in the mountains. You can even come sit with me on the the home side. lol! The biggest thing about that game is getting out of that game without injuries. Can't wait!Just want to enjoy the season, because it will be over faster than anyone of us on here want it to be, but worst faster than the senior's want it to be.

Instant Replay..................Nobody else has it.

I've never been to a JCHS game, but it sounds great from everying I've heard.
I have, however, been to Letcher County Central. It was a FANTASTIC atmosphere!!! I think all the Bear fans had a good time tailgaiting, seeing the new school and facilities, and meeting the Cougar fans....even though we did lose. Next time we will get you Cougars!
I look forward to the rivalry with LCC for years to come. I only hope Harlan County High School can get their atheletic facilities finished sooner rather than later.

Sounds like a great experience at JCC. I am looking forward to Powell & Estill tonight. It should be a very exciting atmosphere. They don't have instant replay but it will be a very interesting game.

When it comes State Semi's and State Quarterfinals Belfry is hard to beat. The best tailgating in EKY, and the best setting....
But, when it comes to a weekly basis the nod would have to go to JCHS or LCC.
