Only 3. 06, 07, and 08 were won by Raceland by a combined 11 points. Ashland won in 2005.

I know Raceland won and congrats for it, did anyone listen to the end of the game?
#19
They could have won it at the end of the game if it wasn't for the play calling at the end of it with just under a minute to go in the game.

Congrats Rams! I know that Raceland puts some really tough football teams on the field, but ever since the 80's when Ashland has been fairly regularly opening up with Raceland, the Tomcats have lost far too many of these games. I don't know the exact number of times that they have played (especially the opening game) in the past 30 seasons or so, but I mean, Raceland is 1A and Ashland is 5A. Give me a break. And in many of these years, the Tomcats could come back and play the Rams later in the season and kill them. But for some unknown reason, the Rams seem to give Ashland a really hard time in these opening games! ??????
