How does The Independent distinguish between having the Lawrence County boys make the All-Area team but not vote any girls on the softball All-Area team? Just by seeing them play and reading the paper (and this forum), they probably have a couple or so players that could make the team considering they went to the state tournament.

I saw that and I was wondering how Kelsey Caudill didnt make the team. I thought that she was really good and had good stats. I thought she would make the team easy.

The 15th Region does an all-area team, but I don't think the 16th region does. Correct me if I'm wrong. I know Amber Riddle, Samantha Sparks and the VanHoose girl made the team. A shame if the 16th doesn't give credit to their players.
