The Friends of Coal (KY) is sponsoring a chance for you to tell folks that you support the coal mining industry in Kentucky. Colleges, Universities, charities and other groups have image license plates on their personal vehicles. You can have one too. Attached is the concept for the plate as well as an application form.
We MUST have 900 pre-paid applications before the plates will be issued.
All you need do is fill out the attached application and mail with your check payable to Friends of Coal to KCA’s office in the amount of $28. There will be an additional county clerk's fee of $6 when you pick up the tag.
Make sure your check is payable to Friends of Coal--NOT the Kentucky Coal Association.
All checks will be deposited in a separate Friends of Coal (KY) account. If we do not get the 900 applications, your money will be refunded.
Please, let’s get these applications handed out and get them in with your checks.
