What player is working hardest?
#1
Now is the time that players get better. I have watched several of LCC's players going to the weightroom on their own after school.
Caleb Frazier is becoming a "HORSE". I expect to see great things happen for this young man during the upcoming season. There are others working hard too---but he sticks out in my mind as a young man with that "work" ethic that makes great ones.

I don't know if anyone really knows who is working the hardest individually, maybe what team is working the hardest? would be more appropriate.

This is possibly the silliest thread ever on this site.

I would imagine there are several individuals whom are working their tails off this off season.

Sadly it's probably not top 15. P-burg owns about 7 of them lol. That Cooley guy is good at a lot of stuff.

Romans 14:11
It is written: " 'As surely as I live,' says the Lord, 'every knee will bow before me; every tongue will confess to God.' "

I hear Jimmy Jack Johnson from Belfry has not only been bsuting his butt in the gym and on the field, but he also is working a shift in the coal mines and spends his nights as a professional lumberjack, all while battli9ng Mono.

He gets my vote for working the hardest.

How is Hazard looking? Rumor is that Beechwood is big and strong again this year. They always seem to have a big line and it looks like that is what they are going to have again this year along with a few newbies that seem to really be making a mark.

This thread is stupid. There is no possible way to determine which individual is working hard
#10
I'd say every player is working as hard as they can.

I agree. We all can talk about how good we think these boys are, but if they are serious about playing football then i expect to see them at the combine that PHS is having. From what i understand there will be "people" there, former college, NFL players, college scouts, to watch and judge these boys. If anyone is ready to move forward with thier football skills then this show should put them in thier first forward motion toward being a football player on the next level. I think the combine that is about to happen will open a few doors for our boys in eastern ky. I would love to be sitting here 5 years from now watching an NFL game and see a few of our "mountain boys" having the game of thier life. I wish all the best to our "mountain boys...star football players...NFL players...that will put Eastern Kentucky on the National Map of Great Football Players. Work your heart, legs, arms, etc out. I know we have great talent in EKY.

Well I think you can. Take a look at the kids that just lift when they have too and then take a look at the kids that do it when they have to and on their own. I know at LCC we have a class to lift in but that class is only 45 minutes long. Iit is impossible to get all the stuff done that you need to in that class period. I believe Windsprint was asking what kids are going beyond what is asked of them, and working on their own. I think we all know that great football players are those that workout even when they are not asked to. Believe me, not all football players work extremely hard in the weight room. Maybe at Highlands, St. X, and Trinity but not in this area. I will say that we are getting close better at LCC at getting this across to the kids. Out of the 50 that are in the 7th period weightlifting class, about 15 kids stay after school to work out more.

Acutally the stupidest thread ever was when the one Belfry fan wrote in a couple of years ago calling for Coach Haywoods resignation just because they lost a state semi-final game.
