Johnson Central 13 Allen Central 3 -- Broughton's Classic

A.C has no pitching at all, don't hit much better. Don't look like a team that won 16 games last year with basically the same players.

AC pitched Sophomore Zach Hall- only the 3rd or 4th game he has EVER pitched in. They also threw Freshmen Micki Parsons- his first game.

AC is very short on pitching right now. Scott Little is out with Tommy John surgery, Josh Prater is out -he broke his hand in AC's last basketball game and Logan Crowder can't pitch right now either. Crowder suffered a lacerated spleen and lacerated kidney in an accident on March 30. He was airlifted to UK because of internal bleeding and had surgery to remove the damaged spleen on March 31. He returned to play on April 15. Hopefully Crowder will be able to return to the mound soon.

Hammonds, Nelson and Stumbo are the only AC players with any prior pitching experience. These 3 were used during AC's district games earlier in the week. There is a slim chance Little will be released to pitch very late in the season, Crowder is hoping to be ready to pitch in the next week or so. Prater- not sure if he will even be able to play this season.
