What do you think is the scariest movie ever?
#1
Id say 13 ghosts was the scariest ive seen
#2
well the recent scary movies that i have watched like texas chainsaw massacre and the ring and stuff wasnt really scary. i havent watched 13 ghosts though, im not a huge scary movie fan unless i know that the movie will be good. besides it being the scariest do u recommend it?
#3
yes.. 13 ghost is awesum.. From beginning to end.. Very unique I think..
#4
The Ring was very scary and so was Gothika. We have The Grudge but Im too afraid to watch it...lol...
The Shining is probably the scariest movie ever for me...but the book was much more scarier than the movie. I read it when I was around 9 or 10 years old...
The movie IT is pretty scary too especially if you fear clowns...

hahaa i loved the ring and am looking forward to see the ring 2 this week. i will definetly try to rent 13 ghosts if it is as good as you make it sound. i love unique movies and it doesnt hurt if it is good all the way through ya know lol.
BGG i havent seen the grudge yet but people say that it was a good movie. i havent seen gothika either come to think of it.
#6
I didn't like the grudge.. it had a few scary parts but nothing major.. Gothika had parts that really made me jump.. oh and i have a really funny story about that movie too lol..

Children of the Corn I scared the crap out of me when i was like 8.. The shining was pretty crazy also.
#7
I forgot about children of the corn..that movie terrified me. I dont know if Id want to see it now. Why did my parents let me watch this stuff when I was younger? lol...
#8
i agree BGG my parents let me watch scary movies with my cousins like chuckie and stuff and i have NO clue why on earth that they did.
#9
Chuckie scared me to death when i was younger
#10
None of the recent movies scare me. I laughed at Saw, I think the scariest were when I was younger.

Halloween 1 and 2

and

Poltergeist
#11
The Ring 2 scared the hell outta me! Gothika is scary too...I had like nightmares for a week after I watched it lol.
#12
nutttin scares me anymore when it comes to movies.

but when i was young, Puppetmasters and Poltergeist scared me to death...

QQ 13 Ghosts is awesome.
#13
I get scared over the smallest things..Saw and the grudge didn't scare me that much. Saw was just odd and the grudge made you jump at times.

But I really don't watch scary movies. I'm too big of a wussy
#14
you guys are making me want to go and rent all of these old horror classics and watch them on spring break or something! Smile
#15
if u have never saw most of them u need to Tribe....
gives ya a bit of culture.
#16
i am hoping to just go one day and rent like 3 or 4 at a time and just start from there. i havent seen MOST of the horror films that have ever been released. when i was younger i watched a few and recently i have seen around 4 but nothing major. never was a big horror film fan until texas chainsaw massacre 2004 edition and the ring came out. i LOVED those two.
#17
I agree that SAW was odd..not really scary...and I didnt get it at all...maybe I need to watch it again...
#18
I think The Texas Chainsaw Masacre was one of the most recent scary movies I've watched, and probably the scariest. When i was younger I'd have to say Freddy Kruger was the scariest, just because he did stuff to people in there dreams. Also Chucky, he was also scary for me when i was younger.
#19
lol BGG yea watch it again...
i liked it...
#20
I think that The Grudge is really scary.....but when I watched it the second time it wasn't as good but it was really scary the first!
#21
I still have not watched The Grudge.. maybe I will watch tonight...
#22
I think Halloween 1 and the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre ranks up there among the scariest.
#23
The Grudge is a joke if you ask me.
#24
i dont think that the first TCM is scary at all.

its boring i think.
#25
I really liked the original one.

Ju On, the Japanese version is better than the American version of the Grudge IMO.
#26
Night of the Living Dead is defently the scariest movie I hve ever watched. I'm 18 yrs. old and it still scares me to death!! The original one from the 50's is the scariest though!
