2025-2026 15th Region Player of the Year
#1
In my opinion, the front runner has to be Braxton Keathley.
#2
Goes to a senior.
#3
Those with a shot

Jackson Keene
Carter parsons
Kaiden Harris
Chris Spriggs

Woods who left Lawrence would have had a shot also had he stayed. I

Any of those four are deserving to win it.

Idk when or if it will ever change
But the fact the POY might not go to the best player in region yearly cause it’s not a senior deal

Should be done away with

It’s not a good players fault
That they are younger and better

And it’s not a seniors right to win it
Just cause they are older

No matter who the player is
Austin Sperry was the best player in the 14th for 3yrs didn’t win it that’s not right in any region

The reason it goes to a senior is it is part of the Mr Basketball process.    That has to go to a senior.   Been that way for decades so no need changing it.

Yeh I understand that part I know the process. I’m just not understanding things that don’t make a lot of sense not in arguing way just like example Trent Noah Reed and many others have been the best players in state multiple years of their careers
so idk why or what would be the reason you couldn’t be back to back etc

like if we had LeBron then we ain’t giving LeBron the back to back

Ok I get it then, didn’t realize it was dealing with that side of the process. So Mr Basketball has it ever went to anyone but a senior in the tradition of it? Or it’s always senior awards only?

Always went to a senior.   The Gatorade player of the year can go to anyone regardless of class.   Montana Fouts won that three times I believe in softball.

That's Awesome! Congrats to the young man on these offers.  I'm sure there will be more to come. Wish the young man the absolute best.

Still learning how to navigate on here, but as a pikeville sports fan I don’t think their play style will allow parsons or keene to get it. Harris is my pick. But Keathley will undoubtedly be the juggernaut to win it next year.

Going to be tough to keep it from Harris this year with the numbers he’s going to put up.
