Now that the 2024/2025 basketball season is all over except state tournament, I wanted to break down the stats from 12 teams in the 14th Region. Who will benefit most and who will it have the most impact on? I look for the 54th to be wild next season between Leslie/Perry/Hazard. John Noble returns pretty much his whole team while Hazard and Perry both lose quite a bit. I know both of those teams will look for next man up but it could be very interesting. Estill and Breathitt take the biggest hits.


1.      Hazard: Averaged 63.5 PPG and loses 32.1 PPG. Averaged 28.9 RPG and loses 18.8 RPG.

2.      Breathitt: Averaged 65.4 PPG and loses 57.6 PPG. Averaged 28.7 RPG and loses 27.8 RPG.

3.      Jenkins: Averaged 67.0 PPG and loses 48.2 PPG. Averaged 33.2 RPG and loses 24.4 RPG.

4.      Knott: Averaged 57.9 PPG and loses 14.9 PPG. Averaged 28.8 RPG and loses 5.7 RPG.

5.      Perry: Averaged 61.9 PPG and loses 36.3 PPG. Averaged 21.7 RPG and loses 12.9 RPG.

6.      Powell: Averaged 66.3 PPG and loses 12.2 PPG. Averaged 32.5 RPG and loses 4.5 RPG.

7.      Wolfe: Averaged 63.3 PPG and loses 2.0 PPG. Averaged 32.8 RPG and loses 4.1 RPG.

8.      Estill: Averaged 57.9 PPG and loses 52.8 PPG. Averaged 25.2 RPG and loses 23.3 RPG.

9.      Leslie: Averaged 59.0 PPG and loses 0.8 PPG. Averaged 30.7 RPG and loses 1.0 RPG.

10.  Letcher: Averaged 60.2 PPG and loses 25.6 PPG. Averaged 33.0 RPG and loses 11.5 RPG.

11.  Lee: Averaged 57.5 PPG and loses 2.9 PPG. Averaged 23.4 RPG and loses 2.8 RPG.

12.  Owsley: Averaged 54.7 PPG and loses 5.4 PPG. Averaged 26.5 RPG and loses 3.7 RPG.

I think we will see some good matchups next season. I’m curious to see if there’s going to be any transfers or coaching changes made.

Hearing some rumblings about coach huff in Knott which surprises me along with hazard sniffing around Jenkins for a player, that actually started before seasons end though. Interesting to see what happens at Knott if anything but may be something to keep an eye if it happens.

Definitely hearing huffs on the hot seat and knott and that Honeycutt is headed back home.

I have a youngen at PCC and it’s a done deal I reckon. I don’t think it was anything Hoskins or Noble done from what I have heard though. Inside drama.

That's been the rumor since the beginning of this season lol. I just don't know if they can make it happen though. I don't see Honeycutt sticking around at Breathitt though, but I definitely could be wrong.
