Mercer County trailed 27-16 after the third but held DCA to 3 points in the 4th quarter to force overtime.

The Lions scored the first four in OT. The Titans had the ball trailing by 1 with roughly :45 to go in OT when DCA got a big stop. From there, the foul game commenced and after some back-and-forth, Titus Boyd was able to make a layup to give DCA a 4 point lead with roughly 10 seconds left. Mercer County would answer with a three pointer to cut it to 1 with 3.3 seconds remaining. From there, Boyd got put back on the line and was able to ice the game with 2 free throws; he finished with 7 points in overtime.

Danville Christian Academy will meet the winner of Region 8 in Rupp on Wednesday, March 26th.

What a low-scoring game especially considering Overtime. Danville Christian all year has had extremely low scoring games. It will be interesting to see how that defense translates at Rupp.

DCA survives 3 scares in the 12th region tournament.

If they can't clean some stuff up, their stint in the sweet 16 will be short lived.

On the flip side, if they can get it cleaned up, they can win a game.
