Lawrence matches up much better with PCC than they did Pikeville. I’m not sure why Pikeville settled for so many pull ups and threes and didn’t use their size advantage and pounded ball inside.
PCC has beat Lawrence both times this season, But think Lawrence pulls this one out. Lawrence pressure could give PCC trouble. It did in the 2a when Lawrence came back from down twenty to have a chance to tie it really quickly in fourth.
Grant Hall is my favorite kid in the region to cheer for, but Lawrence has somehow went and won two games they matched up terrible against. Rest of the region teams left, Lawrence size isn’t as much a disadvantage as their two opening games.

Should be a good game. Can PCC beat LC for the third time. Can LC do anything with Stewart. He’s had great games everytime they’ve played. If LC shoots it well they’ll be fine. Look for this to be a fast paced game from tip to buzzer.
LC won’t get the whistle against PC. PC against Martin Co in finals.

He didn’t play half the game.

Lawrence County will be a tough out if they’re hot from behind the three point line. I just have concerns with what they’ll do with Stewart. They have no real big to deal with him and that could be a serious issue. Owens will be a problem as well for the Dawgs. But if they shot how they did against JC it could be a game. Realistically though I’m taking PC.

This game all depends on who the biased stripes are for. As we all saw the refs can make a huge difference.

If Pike Central can’t win the region this year, will they ever win a region in any of the boys big three sports? Tourney is on their home court and you have the Region POY.

Lawrence County’s speed could prove to be too much for the Hawks. Size vs speed.

I wonder if all those Pike Central fans who cheered so hard Saturday for Lawrence are still cheering currently?
