You must hold a major grudge against Owsley. Guess it could be all the winning they have done for past few years. So we are clear I don’t have a kid on team or in school. But to call a kid sorry you must be a low life. Grow up.

I see a hazard/knott finals. Hazard with home court advantage but knott will be hard to handle.

Owsley was very young this year after they lost several girls to transfer the last 2 years. In the district they started 3 freshmen and 2 sophomores.
For a county high school with an enrollment of 182 I think Owsley has done very well over the years in both boys and girls basketball

Not making things easy on fans with the boys playing semifinals at Knott at 1 and 3 and then girls play their championship at 7 in Hazard. With as much time in between region and boys state, why did they choose to do a Saturday semifinal on same day as Girls championship?

Girls state is next week starting March 12. Boys doesn't start until March 26 due to UK hosting the first 2 rounds of the NCAA tournament.

I’m not sure but they also did it that way last year. The boys had their semifinals at Powell County Saturday afternoon and the girls championship was at Estill County Saturday at 7:00. It made it a tussle and hustle for media outlets as well as fans. There was a lot of packing up and moving equipment from Stanton to Irvine that day. Fortunately the route from Stanton to Irvine is only 17 miles.
