Yes
first four today for boys
3 Paintsville
3 Lawrence County
3 East Ridge
3 Belfry
4 Magoffin
4 Floyd Central
This draw takes place at 10am today. The four 3 seeds will draw either the two 4 seeds or a bye to Saturday
the two 4 seeds will play a game at the 3 seeds district tournament site tomorrow. The winners advance leaving us with 12 teams
Friday morning the Regional draw will take place
The district winners will have automatic byes to the final 8
the District runner ups will host the remaining 4 teams on their home floor Saturday to make the final 8

I am going to try and explain this the best I can, it can be confusing, so I'll try and break it down.
First round losers in each district 57th-60th will be in a 6 team draw. As of last night, those teams are:
57th:
Paintsville
Magoffin Co.
58th:
Lawrence Co.
Floyd Central
59th:
East Ridge
60th:
Belfry
Out of those 6 teams, 2 will draw and possibly receive a bye, which would advance them into the super-regional round, the other 4 teams that draw, will be in what is unofficially called the "first four" play-in games to move onto the actual super regional round. So, for example, if Floyd Central draws, and plays Magoffin Co, that game will be played at the district tournament site of the team that drew, so it would be played at Betsy Layne. If Paintsville draws East Ridge for example, that game would be played at Magoffin Co, the site for the 57th district tournament.
So, the 2 teams that drew byes, will move onto the super-regional round where they will host a home regional tournament game. The runners-up of each district championship will also host a home tournament game in the super regional round, winners of the play-in games will advance to the super regional round. Winners of those games will then move onto the regional tournament. All district champions will automatically advance to the regional tournament.
Hasn't been confirmed yet but should be today that the tournament will be held at Pike Central, as 60th district was the tournament host this year.
I hope this clears it up for those wondering.

Floyd central and Magoffin are required to play tomorrow.
Lawrence can only draw Magoffin or a bye to be played at BL
Paintsville could only draw Floyd central or bye would be played at Magoffin
East ridge and belfry could draw either FC or Magoffin, to be played at their district site or the bye.

I think this is going to be good and would be cool to see other regions follow in the near future.

@Bandit29 I think so too. There are a lot of variables to this.
One thing is that there's an uneven number of teams in this region now since Jenkins left for the 14th.
Two is that this concept is meant for the 8 best teams to make it, last year is served its purpose.
For instance, let's take last night for example. You have 2 of the top teams in the region playing each other in the same district in Paintsville vs. Martin Co. under the old format, you lose that game last night and your season is over.
I know one gripe will always be "participation trophy culture" or "ohh everyone gets a change now", also it makes district more meaningless, you wouldn't be able to prove that in the 58th district this week. Also makes the excitement for upsets that more intriguing, now Lawrence will have to win a super region game to get to the regional tournament, when most thought they would just sweep the 58th with ease, look at a team like Prestonsburg whose had a tough season, just played their best game of the season and will have a chance to advance to the regional tournament.
This is, and I think will be a great concept moving forward and I could see other regions trying to implement it as well.
