Madison Southern: Open
#31
No, and if Southern gets the guy they are going to interview today…kids may wind up coming to Southern!!! It’s a hire people will certainly rally behind.

Who is the guy they interviewed?

Hearing Tim Kirk (current DC), Mark Scenters, or a name from TN I’ve not gathered yet.

Heard this from somebody....It definitely was NOT a competitors website that charges a fee to view the forum and this is not an advertisement

When will they announce?

Hearing a very familiar name in the Madison County/Berea area is the man for the job. A very solid coach, one I expect to have success. IF he were to turn down the job (I think he's already accepted) , I understand there are a couple coaches who would interview. Most are assistant coaches from surrounding counties. Again, I think the hire is made, fwiw.

Not sure who will get the job, but it appears the admin there will find a way to mess it up.

Some guy from TN and from what I gather he was the 3rd choice.

Sounds like the other candidates at the top of the list backed out if that's the case. What do we know about the coach from TN?

So, this job was offered to two candidates who turned it down? Who are/were they?

Walt Love?

Oh! I thought Walt was the mystery candidate from Tennessee. He is trying really hard to land a job here in KY!
