The coaching strategies of these two teams remain consistent, focusing heavily on fast-paced play and three-point shooting, while often neglecting defensive efforts. This approach is reminiscent of the tactics employed by BIGGS's Ashland teams in the mid-2000s, which also resulted in losses.

34 three's in a game is impressive, I don't care what jersey you're wearing. Going to be fun districts and and an intense regional. Buddy will have to find some defense and remain hot from long range if he hopes to take down one or both of the big dogs. Congrats to Boyd County, they are finding themselves at the right time.

I completely agree. Making 34 three-pointers in a single game is an impressive feat, regardless of the team. It demonstrates exceptional shooting skills and consistency. The defeats of Fleming and Boyd highlight the importance of a stronger team's defensive strategy. It appears that their opponents firmly believe in the adage that defense wins championships, and their performance on the court reflects this philosophy.

An impress lack of defense I might add!

Phenomenal shooting by both teams. Boyd’s 3 pt percentage had to be close to 80%. No denying the talent of this team. But why have starters in the game with 3 min left when up 30 and still shooting 3s. IMO if starters are in then work on something besides dribbling down and shooting 3. Or put second string in to work on their shooting. Subs didn’t come in until 2 min and some were subbed in with less than a minute.

Great game to watch. BC and Fleming both shot the ball well. It was a fast paced game. Not a lot of fouls called in the first half. Game got chippy due to that in the third quarter and carried throughout the rest of the game. Biggs tried to adjust from zone to man to man but just couldn’t guard all the open spots with BC hitting 21 record breaking 3’s. 8th all time in the state’s history.
Getting healthy has definitely helped for sure. BC still missing PG GT and I’d say he may not return. Huff injury also was a blow.
As you can see Fleming can score the ball. Especially shooting the three. As you have seen me say before. 20 point lead is nothing on a capable team that can shoot. 30 point lead looks safe about 3 min left. Especially when Fleming is hitting threes as hot as they did.
Boyd schedule is the toughest in the region and a top schedule in the state. Especially early, when a lot of kids had been hurt.

Ashland has played 4. Have you looked at and compared Boyd, and Ashlands schedules? Their schedules are not comparable.

And have the same district record and split with BC. I’m not saying they have a weak schedule. I don’t think that. I do think BC early schedule was tougher. Especially with the amount of injuries they had. No knock on APB.

Tough Schedule 20-9 overall and 14-2 region typical year for THE COUNTY outside of the 16th BC record is a shattering 6-7
Tough Schedule 19-7 Overall and 3-1 region play typical year for A-TOWN outside the 16th APB record is a shattering 16-6
Just by looking at this IMO THE COUNTY schedule not remotely close as A-TOWN.

In my opinion, Ashland's schedule is the toughest in the 16th Region. Besides the top two teams (Boyd & Ashland) the 16th region is extremely down compared to past years. So winning within the 16th Region is not as impressive this year as it has been in the past.

Again, put things in context. APB never out a starter and has started the same starting 5 the entire season. BC during the toughest part of their schedule playing former state champions from multiple states played very well with at least two to three starters out during most of that run. Not including Huff out as the 6th man.
if you are upset because of BC has one more win than APB right now and it bothers you obviously. You need to do some soul searching. I get you probably don't like losing the last three at home either, but APB will get another shot at BC next Thursday. Calm down sis.

I said BC had the toughest schedule and they had way more adversity to overcome to compound it. You are just so sensitive.

Yes you did say that THE COUNTY had the toughest schedule which is totally not true and others have agreed with yours truly. ROIDS
