Gonna have some great competition this weekend at the Williamson Field. The schedule is as follows:

Friday-  5:00pm Cabell Midland vs Breathitt
            6:30pm Hurricane vs Martin Co
            8:00pm Mingo central vs Lawrence
            9:30pm Tug Valley vs Phelps

Saturday- 12:15pm Williamson vs Belfry 
                              (Middle School)
                 1:30pm Mingo Central vs Belfry
                 3:00pm Pike Central vs Breathitt
                 4:30pm South Charleston vs
                             Martin Co
                 6:00pm Scott WV vs Phelps 
                 7:30pm Mingo Central vs POCA
                 9:00pm Tug Valley vs Belfry

The place will be rocking for several of these games and it will be a great atmosphere. Martin Co has two tough ones in this one against hurricane and south Charleston. Tug valley will be looking to get their revenge against Phelps. Wish they would have put tug against Martin but guess the Mingo county people didn’t think that tug could handle the cards. Gonna be a fun weekend!

Agreed, no atmosphere at all. This may be one of the worst setups for basketball period. Kentucky teams always end up screwed over and the place is old, run down and flat stinks. Literally stinks.

Atmosphere was dead and it was hard to get energy and gain momentum. Didn’t help that hurricane shot lights out. All we can do now is learn from our mistakes and try our best to play with intensity against south Charleston

I went to the Williamson Fieldhouse few years back and I don't believe they have air conditioning in that building.

I seen one working urinal in the men’s room. Place is historic but this big of an event needs a better location.

No parking, no restrooms, locker rooms for teams, and a once amazing place looks to have ran its course.
