He is adding two great players to his lineup as well, the McAlarnis sisters. They excel on the softball field just like they do on the basketball court.

And I am not saying Bobby isn’t qualified but you just never know how things will go in a school district. I also think another big factor that will determine if Bobby will be considered for the job is how receptive these parents are to Moberly. We all know that parents make a lot of the calls when it comes to sports at Perry. I have a feeling it will get interesting.

JR Hammond is one of the finest people anyone could ever know. He has spent many years coaching, primarily basketball. He coached at Sheldon Clark and then Alice Lloyd. Glad seeing him coach again and the girls at Knott Central are very lucky to have him.
As far as Perry Central, if that is true, sad Bobby Ratliff may be getting out of it. He's another great coach.

Perrry has a great program. The 14th has some really good teams right now. Softball might be the sport at the highest level in the region

Perry hasn’t had any consistency in the past by looking at KHSAA statistics. Ratliff has been consistent his entire tenure. Can’t say that about previous coaches or teams there. Estill and Wolfe have been two of the more consistent teams over the years. Estill pretty much owning the region for a long time.

Doesn’t sound too much like there was no consistency at all but maybe you’re more familiar with things than I am. Not exactly like Perry has been in the title game every single year and winning region championship after championship. He works hard seems like but hard for me to say built from ground up when all his success has been with girls that transferred in and with girls who’s parents had worked their butts off to make them better before he ever showed up on the scene. Estill has definitely made there presence known and Wolfe has had there stretch too.

Everyone has transfers but coming from Hazard to Perry isn’t exactly a major move for most people. Most never move and lie about address change. Perry is the best program in the region right now along with Estill and Wolfe. Hazard and Letcher after that. Powell has taken a nose dive.

Doesn’t matter if it’s across town or the next county over it’s still the same end result isn’t it?

Middle school program seems to be falling apart and rumor is he’s got some girls on his current high school squad that are looking for a new home already for next season.
